HOW TO ACCESS SUPPORT FROM GRASP:

G.R.A.S.P. provides short-term housing support to individuals transitioning out of incarceration, treatment, or detox. To receive funding, individuals must follow the steps below:

  1. Contact an Approved Recovery Residence
Begin by reaching out to one of the recovery residences listed on our “Who We Help” page. Complete the facility’s housing application directly through them.

  2. Complete the Recovery Residence’s Approval Process
The recovery residence will conduct its own intake and vetting process. If the individual is accepted, the recovery home will then contact G.R.A.S.P. to request sponsorship.

  3. G.R.A.S.P. Reviews Sponsorship Requests
G.R.A.S.P. only accepts funding requests directly from approved recovery residences. If funding is available, we will provide payment directly to the facility to cover up to two weeks of rent for eligible individuals.

Please note: There is no application process directly through G.R.A.S.P. All inquiries for housing support must begin with a participating recovery residence.

If you’re unsure which recovery residence is the best fit, you may contact G.R.A.S.P. for guidance. However, this does not guarantee placement or sponsorship. Funding is only considered once the client has been approved by the recovery residence and the facility submits a sponsorship request.
